Course objective

This course is intended for UAS pilots who want to specialize in drone management and pilotage in energy industrial inspections, applied to MV/HV/EHV/UHV Power lines (MAT ® Powerlines).

The course is 45 total hours between theory and real practice applied to MV/HV/EHV/UHV and technical facilities, in addition to the corresponding test of the subjects taught.

Classes will be taught in person and attendance will be compulsory to obtain the accreditation diploma.

Course Structure

40 hours, with field visits to identify, recognize and fix the technical elements.

• Generic regulation.
• Medium and high voltage networks.
• Transformers and electrical substations.
• Security Methodology.
• Thermography applied to the electricity sector.
• Methodology in inspection operations with UAS.
• Equipment, sensors, communications and security plan.
• Networks and LIDAR.
• Postprocessing of images and reports.
• Field practices.

+5 HOURS Theoretical, practical to be defined with the student according to level, theoretical and practical exam.
